Can I return the item? If you ordered wrong item or no longer want the item you ordered, you can return them within 30 days of delivery for refund. The item must be new, unopened not used in any way in their original packaging. Please note that original shipping cost is not refundable and 10% restocking fee will apply. Also buyer is responsible for the cost of return shipping. Clearance items are sold "as is" and can not be returned or exchanged under any circumstance. If the item you are returning is related warranty claim or is the result of error on our side (we shipped wrong product), ScratchBuilds.com will pay the return shippin costs. If you received the item in not working condition (highly unlikely as we check each and every item to be in working condition), you must file claim within 15 days of delivery to get RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) and return the item within 30 days of delivery. In such case ScratchBuilds.com will pay for returning the item.
How to return the item(s)? Any time you want to return any item back to us, you must use Contact Us form HERE to get RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization). Items returned without RMA will not be accepted and sender/buyer will be responsible for any cost involved. Once you obtain RMA number from us, pack the items you want to return in appropriate shipping material to prevent any damage. You must include all the original packaging that came with the order. Please reuse the shipping container we originally sent to you if possible. Clearly write your RMA number on the outside of the package, and also on piece of paper inside the box. DO NOT WRITE ANYTHING ON THE ORIGINAL PACKAGING OF ITEM. Always ship the package that can be tracked via carriers like UPS or FedEx. It is highly recommended that you insure the shipment for the value of the items. If the shipment is lost or damaged ScratchBuilds.com can not be held responsible by customers. I returned the item(s), what's next? Once we receive your package we will inspect the returned item(s) to ensure they are in new condition. If the returned item(s) are in new condition we will issue you a refund or store credit (your preference). If the item(s) are received damaged or used, your return will be denied and a we will contact you to arrange to have the item(s) sent back to you (at your expense). Please note that the entire return process usually takes two to three weeks. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
